You are invited to the next CCSD Research Masterclass Webinar for clinician-scientists, Do I Need a PhD to be a Clinician-Scientist? by Prof Pierce Chow. Clinicians considering taking up research training are especially encouraged to attend.

Prof Chow is a Senior Consultant in the Division of Surgical Oncology at the National Cancer Centre Singapore and Hepato-pancreato-biliary and Transplant Surgery at the Singapore General Hospital. He is the Academic Vice Chair (Research) of the Academic Clinical Programme for Surgery and Program Director of the PhD Programme in Clinical Sciences at Duke-NUS Medical School. The National Medical Research Council of Singapore conferred him the National Outstanding Clinician-Scientist Award in 2012 and Clinician Scientist Award (Senior Investigator) in 2017.
